Organic porridge oats
Oats are with me literally every day in so many ways I never would have imagined. But why porridge oats?
As with all serious relationships, meeting the family was intimidating. Oat groats, the whole-grain family success story, is popular for his tasty morning-after promises but takes a lot of effort. I've tried overnight oats and I guess I'm just not that kind of girl. On the other hand, I find instant oats too sweet and mushy.
Amongst the rest, rolled crushed, steel-cut; porridge, sprouted porridge, pinhead, the options seem endless. In the end, I chose the cheapest and most readily available, which I find the most versatile too.
When I say cheapest, I mean of the organic options, which is still pretty inexpensive and extremely cost-effective. While oats themselves typically don't cause sensitivity reactions, inorganic oats may be "contaminated" with other types of grain that does.
