If it's made by Italians you're well on your way to perfecting your home made cuppa. Coffee originated as a religious practice in Islamic states like Ethiopia, Mecca and Turkey. When it got to Venice the Pope declared it satanic, decided to baptize it and then, of course, claimed its magnificence. Meanwhile once the elite men in Oxford England got hooked, their women declared war and petitioned against coffee because their husbands weren't coming home. Coffee certainly wreaked its share of havoc in its wild young days. We're very grateful that it's settled down into rather picket-fence domesticity. 

Bestie and I are pedantic about our morning bliss. If it's not perfect we just don't feel fulfilled. We need to keep trying, sometimes it becomes a whole day (followed by sleepless night) affair. But with this fine specimen we are silenced with each sip - first time, every time. The blend of strength meets creamy & smooth is just perfect.

And the cherry on top is the match made in heaven between this coffee and our favourite oat milk.
