Dark chocolate for ...everything

Dr. Oetker Dark Chocolate for baking
Bestie's teen daughter fell briefly in love with chocolate-coated strawberries. But properly in love - to be found in the kitchen at all hours attempting to use the microwave in service of her love. Rescuing her obviously meant taking a block or two of the cooking chocolate as payment and ended in both of us getting caught up in illicit affairs with said lactose sensitivity-friendly chocolate.
Once the teen crush ended, the adults were forced to discuss what was to become of the not-so-tall but dark and very handsome leftovers. Basically we both reached for it with a shrill "I'll take it". The triangle was revealed and the smooth and decadent Dr. Oetker found a home.
Sustainability: 😐
And then the penny dropped. Dr Perfect's commitments to sustainability (as described on the website) seem vague and insipid. Not a mention of the source of their chocolate, merely an aim that's "being further pursued". Not sure what that means? Me neither. We've asked.
